Here is a "real" macro in that it was taken at exactly 1:1. This shows the problem of the definition. I actually reduced the size to upload, and the image has enough resolution that I could probably print it a poster sized. With digital imaging it is nearly impossible to go by the "traditional" definition of macro. The reason I know this particular image is a "macro photograph" is that it was done with a flat bed scanner!
